Australian art and Coral Expeditions
Art and culture are central themes across our voyages, alongside natural encounters and historical understanding. In continuation of our relationship with remote communities that we visit and our ongoing partnership with the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF), Coral Geographer will showcase a number of works from emerging and established First Nations artists.
These authentic artworks celebrate Indigenous Australian connection to country and bring to life the interiors of the ship. The ethos behind the selection of art is to support the communities that welcome us to their homes, to share an appreciation for the cultures they share with us, and patronage for artists whose works reflect the landscapes we explore.
We’re proud to share a glimpse of the artworks below; the vivid expressions of the regions we visit as seen through the eyes of Indigenous communities.
