Book with Confidence – Sail close to home with our flexible booking policies
We are now sailing again in Australia with a successful return on the Great Barrier Reef in October 2020 and now underway with a series of coastal voyages exploring Tasmania, South Australia, and Australia’s West Coast. We have tested and proven our SailSAFE health protocols, and have full approvals from respective federal, state and territory government authorities due to our Australian flag and small ship classification.
We understand that uncertainty due to Covid-19 continues, and border and hotspot restrictions may affect some future travel and the confidence of our guests. We have developed the following interim policies for this time, to give assurance and peace of mind as you plan your travel for 2021. These policies are an interim addition to our existing Ticket Terms & Conditions.
All bookings with Coral Expeditions are subject to acceptance and agreement of our long-standing Cruise Ticket Terms and Conditions.
As we manage the uncertainty of the current travel and health environment, we have implemented a range of interim policies which are designed to support and assure guests wishing to return to travel.
Restart Refund Guarantee:
Given the uncertainties of travel during this period of restart, we are offering an interim refund guarantee. If your booked cruise is cancelled or you are restricted from travel for COVID related reasons, we offer guests a full refund within 14 days. This applies for all new bookings made on voyages departing between January 1st and March 31st in 2021. Terms and conditions apply.
Future Cruise Credit:
Travel arrangements can change rapidly during this time. In the case of deferral or cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions or impacts, guests will receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit to the value of monies paid. Future Cruise Credit is long-dated and available for use on any available itinerary offered by Coral Expeditions. Guests will also be protected against any rate increases on like for like itineraries and will have no fees or charges applied. If there is no COVID-19 restriction, usual booking terms and conditions will apply. Guests who have purchased or hold Deposit Protection can avail of the deferral benefit without citing any reason.
Complimentary Deposit Protection:
Book confidently and transfer your deposit payment towards any future Coral Expeditions trip in the event you are unable to travel on the cruise you originally booked. Deposit protection is included free of charge until 31 March 2021.
It is our top priority to keep our guests and crew safe while travelling with us, and our SailSAFE Plan ensures we operate safely and responsibly in the new environment. Our medical plan has been tested and proven through our successful restart and has received approval from all national authorities. Our protocols are more thorough in process than any comparative industry sector with the addition of required medical screening and testing before travel and this has been very well received by guests who have returned to travel with us.
Remote, nature-based expeditions with Australian and New Zealand crew, and small groups less than 100 guests provides a safe environment for travel. View our detailed SailSAFE Plan here.
The above policy advice is designed to support confidence in travel for guests and is accurate at time of publishing. Coral Expeditions will update all travel advice and information on our website and travel documents regularly. Interim policy conditions and dates may be updated as circumstances determine. Our reservations team will apply all conditions clearly with guests at time of booking.
